Kelsey Lengyel-Jacovich is in her sixth year as a member of the Connecticut College Athletic Department staff in 2018-19. She was hired as the Coordinator of Athletic Operations in August of 2013 and was promoted to the position of Manager of Facilities, Home Events and Recreation after her second year.
Prior to her arrival at Connecticut College, Lengyel-Jacovich gained valuable experience in athletic operations as the graduate supervisor of events at Springfield College. She also served as the assistant coach of the Pride’s women’s basketball and softball programs as well as the head coach of the junior varsity women’s basketball team.
Lengyel-Jacovich also worked as an intern with the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference. In this position, she assisted in the management, marketing and coordination of media relations for the Division II conference.
In the community, Lengyel-Jacovich served in AmeriCorps as an Academic Coach for inner-city high school student-athletes in the City of Springfield.
Lengyel-Jacovich graduated summa cum laude as a three-sport athlete in basketball, tennis and softball at Post University and was twice recognized as the school’s female student-athlete of the year. She served as a sports information student assistant and earned her bachelor’s degree in sport management and psychology at Post before receiving a master’s in sport and exercise psychology from Springfield College.
