HADLEY, Mass. – A total of 69 Connecticut College student-athletes were named to the 2018 NESCAC Spring All-Academic Team, as announced by the league office on Friday afternoon. The teams include the sports of baseball, softball, lacrosse, golf, outdoor track & field, rowing, tennis, sailing and women's water polo.
Connecticut College's women's outdoor track & field team placed 16 student-athletes on the all-academic team, which was the highest number of selections among Camel programs. Men's outdoor track & field (9), men's lacrosse (8), sailing (7), women's water polo (7), women's lacrosse (6), women's rowing (6), men's rowing (5), women's tennis (4) and men's tennis (2) all had at least one student-athlete chosen.
To be honored on the all-academic team, an individual must have reached sophomore academic standing and be in good standing on their team with a cumulative grade point average of at least a 3.40. A transfer student must have completed at least one year of study at the institution.
