Murphy Makes NFHCA All-New England West Region Second Team

CHANDLER, Ariz. – Connecticut College field hockey senior captain Jacqueline Murphy (Danvers, Mass.) earned a place on the NFHCA All-New England West Region Second Team, as announced by the national organization.

Murphy, who was recently named the MVP of the NFHCA Senior All-Star Game in Louisville, started every match over the last four years for a Camel defense which blanked nine opponents, including four this past fall. She also registered five defensive saves as a senior and most notably had two in the program's 1-0 victory over then-No. 8 Hamilton on Sept. 23. The senior ended her career with a school-record 17 defensive saves and was also named to the All-NESCAC Second Team for her efforts.
