GILBERT, Ariz. – Connecticut College senior field hockey captains Jamie Navoni (Northborough, Mass.) and Lauren Hirshom (Walpole, Mass.) are among 72 student-athletes who have been selected as either participants or alternates for the 2018 Victory Tours/National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division III Senior Game.
The contest, which will take place during the same weekend as the Division III Final Four, will be played at Spooky Nook Sports in Manheim, Pa. on Saturday, Nov. 17 at 5:00 p.m. Navoni was selected as one of 60 participants, while Hirshom was tabbed as an alternate.
Navoni started all 60 matches during her four-year career and piled up 62 career points on 25 goals and 12 assists. She has led the team in scoring the past three years, which was capped by registering five goals and seven assists this past fall.
Hirshom never missed a match in four years and made 59 starts on defense. She has made two defensive saves in her career and been a part of a back line which has blanked nine opponents over the last four seasons.
