#11 Amherst College 4, Connecticut College 0 Camels Set to Celebrate Senior  Day Saturday at Dayton Arena

NEW LONDON, Conn.--The 11th ranked Amherst College men's hockey team secured a 4-0 shutout victory at Connecticut College in a NESCAC contest played at Dayton Arena Friday night.

The Lord Jeffs improved their record to 15-4-2 with an 11-4 mark in conference play. The Camels fell to 11-8-2 with an 8-6-1 mark in conference action.

Sophomore forward Chris Roll (Fairport, N.Y.), Conor Brown (Greely, Ontario), Brendan Burke (Westwood, Mass.) and Austin Ho (Chino Hills, Calif.) all contributed with goals for the Lord Jeffs.     

Senior net-minder Danny Vitale (Scarsdale, N.Y.) turned aside 23 shots en route to his second shutout of the season.

Connecticut College was out-shot 37-to-23 in the game.

Junior Tom Conlin (Norwood, Mass.) made 33 saves in the setback.

The Lord Jeffs will visit Tufts tomorrow afternoon for a 4:00 p.m. game in Malden, Mass.

The Camels will celebrate senior day here in New London with a 3:00 p.m. game against Hamilton College.
