Wesleyan 5, Connecticut College 2 Paris  Nets First Collegiate Goal for Camels

NEW LONDON, Conn.--Junior forward James Kline (Pittsburgh, Pa.) scored twice to lead the Wesleyan University men's hockey team to a 5-2 victory at Connecticut College Friday night.

The Cardinals improved their record to 1-7-7 with a 1-2-6 mark in the NESCAC while the Camels fell to 3-10-2 with a 0-7-2 record in conference action.

Senior forward Jay Matthews (Marsfhield, Mass.), Jaren Taenaka (Rosemead, Calif.) and Quincy Oujevolk (Plantation, Fla.) chipped in with goals for the Cardinals.

Senior Tim DiPretoro (Philadelphia, Pa.) had one goal and one assist for the Camels. Freshman Jon Paris (pictured, Hailey, Idaho) tallied the first goal of his nascent career.

Junior net-minder Dawson Sprigings (Toronto, Ont.) made 24 saves in goal for the Cardinals.

Senior Tom Conlin (Norwood, Mass.) finished with 16 saves in the loss for the hosts.
