Fitchburg State U. 3, Connecticut College 2 Garlasco, Belisle Supply Scores for Camels Judson Named to All-Tourney Team

SARATOGA, N.Y.--Rory Garlasco (Wayne, N.J.) and Brian Belisle (Cumberland, R.I.) scored goals for Connecticut College today in a 3-2 loss to Fitchburg State University in the second round of the Skidmore College Tournament. 

Garlasco celebrated with his first collegiate goal 10:06 into the opening period. Belisle accounted for the 14th point of his career with 15:19 remaining in regulation. Freshman Jacob Moreau (Dollard-des-Ormeaux, Quebec) dished out a pair of assists in the close loss.  

Avery Gobbo (Mississauga, Ont.) made 17 saves between the pipes for the Camels in Blue.

Sophomore defender Conner Judson (Pepper Pike, Ohio) was honored on the All-Tournament Team for the Camels. 

Fitchburg State University junior forward James Gordon (Hingham, Mass.) scored twice to lead the Falcons (4-4-1) in the victory. Senior Cameron Snyder (Shawnee, Kan.) contributed with his third goal of the season.

Sophomore Kirby Saari (Cape Elizabeth, Maine) made 18 saves for Fitchburg. 

Connecticut College held a 29-to-20 advantage in shots.  The Camels wrapped up the weekend a perfect 9-for-9 in penalty killing situations.
