MIDDLETOWN, Conn.--Brian Belisle (Cumberland, R.I.) scored his team-leading ninth goal of the season and classmate Joe Giordano (Ellington, Conn.) doled out his conference leading 13th assist to lead the Connecticut College men's hockey team in a 4-4 draw with longstanding rival Wesleyan at Middletown, Conn. Friday night.
The Camels improved their record to 3-9-2 and are 1-6-2 in NESCAC play. The Cardinals moved to 8-4-2 with a 4-3-2 record in conference action.
Rookie forward Jeff Thompson (Shelburne, Vt.) potted his seventh goal of the season while classmate Jacob Moreau (Dollard-des-Ormeaux, Quebec) scored his fourth of the year. Junior Mason Evans (Buffalo, N.Y.) added his second goal of the year.
Senior forward James Kline (Pittsburgh, Pa.) and rookie forward Walker Harris (Boulder, Colo.) both scored twice for the Cardinals in the draw.
Rookie net-minder Connor Rodericks (Buzzards Bay, Mass.) made 38 saves for the Camels. Senior Dawson Sprigings (Toronto, Ont.) finished with 24 stops for the hosts.
The Camels will visit Trinity tomorrow afternoon for a 4:00 p.m. game in the Capital City of Hartford.
