MIDDLETOWN, Conn. – The Connecticut College men's squash team split a pair of matches against Colby and Bard on Sunday afternoon at Wesleyan University. The Camels were swept by the Mules before rebounding to post a 9-0 win over the Raptors.
After a tough start to the day against Colby, the Camels were led by captains Scott Brown (Old Greenwich, Conn.) and Samuel Piller (Charlottesville, Va.) against Bard to end the weekend on a high note. Piller was victorious by set scores of 11-4, 11-3 and 11-4 from the No. 5 position, while Brown defeated his opponent by marks of 11-3, 11-4 and 11-5 from the No. 6 spot.
Connecticut College (2-3) will next play its first home match of the season when it hosts Wesleyan at approximately 6:30 p.m. on Friday evening.
