NEW LONDON, Conn.--The Connecticut College men's swimming and diving team earned a 205-75 victory against Bates College Saturday.
On senior day, the 16th ranked Camels (9-3) were led by senior All-American Sam Gill (Springfield, Ill.). Gill posted victories in both the 50 yard free and 100 yard fly with times of 21.45 and 50.79 seconds.
In the 1000 yard free, Mace Molina (Wilton, Conn.) posted a victory in 9:53.99. Bo Martin (West Hartford, Conn.) chipped in with a win in the 200 yard free, logging a time of 1:45.97. In the 100 yard back, Trebor Lawton (Gorham, Maine) posted a time of 52.01 seconds to secure a Camel win.
Drew Andre' (Carlisle, Mass.) triumphed in the 100 yard free with a time of 47.38. Loring Bowen (Summit, N.J.) collected a win in the 200 yard backstroke with a time of 1:56.64. In the 200 yard breast, Dylan Steiner (Petaluma, Calif.) won with a time of 2:11.03.
Stephen Skaperdas (New Canaan, Conn.) contributed a victory with a time of 4:49.30 in the 500 yard free. In the 400 yard individual medley, Evan Fischer (Ridgewood, N.J.) posted a winning time of 4:19.23 for the Camels.
The Camels secured a pair of victories in relay events. In the 200 yard medley relay, Sean Paquette (Middletown, R.I.), Cam Johnson (Westford, Mass.), Sam Gill and Drew Andre' teamed up for a victory with a time of 1:34.66.
Michael Fothergill (Medford, Mass.), Andre', Carson Owlett (Wellsboro, Pa.) and Patrick McGinnis (Middletown, R.I.) triumphed in the 200 yard free relay with a time of 1:26.34.
