Freiberg and Ifill Compete in 50 Free on Opening Day of NCAA Championships

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Senior Drake Freiberg (South Glastonbury, Conn.) and sophomore Kaison Ifill (Taunton, Mass.) competed in the 200-yard freestyle at the NCAA Division III Swimming & Diving Championships on Wednesday morning at the IU Natatorium.

Freiberg placed 26th overall in 20.70 seconds, while Ifill finished 32nd by hitting the wall in 20.78.

Select members of the Connecticut College men's swimming team will continue competing at the NCAA Championships tomorrow morning at 10 a.m. Freshman Charlie Adl (New Canaan, Conn.), senior George Tilneac (New York, N.Y.), Freiberg and Ifill are slated to race in the 200 free relay, while Ifill will also swim in the 100 fly.
