Men’s Swimming’s 800-Yard Freestyle Relay Finishes Sixth on Opening Night of NESCAC Championships

MIDDLEBURY, Vt. – Freshman Casey Keenan (Westford, Vt.) anchored the 800-yard freestyle relay as the Connecticut College men's swimming team ended the opening night of the NESCAC Championships in sixth place on Thursday evening. The Camels finished the first day at Middlebury with 64 points.

In the only event of the evening, the Camels clocked in at 6:50.58. Keenan registered a split time of 1:43.91 on the final leg and was joined on the relay by sophomore Charlie Adl (New Canaan, Conn.), who posted the fastest split of 1:40.51, as well as seniors Andrew Eigner (Cheshire, Conn.) and Jaleel Watler (Brooklyn, N.Y.).

Connecticut College will continue competing at the NESCAC Championships tomorrow morning at 10 a.m.
