University of St. Thomas 7 Connecticut College 2 Maffa, Cannon Shine for Camels in Palmetto State

HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C.--Ben Sachs (Mount Kisco, N.Y.) stormed back from a 6-4 deficit in the first set to outlast his foe in the super tiebreaker, 10-6 , leading Connecticut College in a 7-2 loss to the University of St. Thomas in the Palmetto State of South Carolina Sunday.

The Camels slipped to 2-3 with the loss. The Tommies improved their record to 5-0 with the victory.  Junior captain Patrick Farrell (Smithtown, N.Y.) chipped in with a 2-6, 6-4, 10-8 triumph in the super tie-breaker tonight at fifth singles for Connecticut College.
