LeDuc Wins 5k at Tufts, Moves Up to Third on National Performance List

MEDFORD, Mass.--Mike LeDuc (Canton, Conn.) posted a time of 14:28.61 to win the 5k at the Tufts University Invitational Monday night.

LeDuc broke his own school indoor record in the 5000, besting his previous mark of 14:33.17.  He also catapulted his way into third place on the National Performance List. The 2013 NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championship will be hosted by North Central College in Naperville, Ill. March 8-9.

In the one-mile run, senior Jeff Beling (Framingham, Mass.) set a personal record with a time of 5:00.26.  

Senior Ian Rathkey (Old Lyme, Conn.) and freshman Armen Arakelian (Bedford, Mass.) posted personal records in the 600 meter run, placing ninth and 10th with respective times of 1:26.97 and 1:29.02.  

Matt Boudreau (Bridgewater, Mass.) placed eighth in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:05.39 for the Camels
