LeDuc Sets School Record with 2nd Place Finish in Steeple-Moves to #1 on NCAA Performance List

NEW LONDON, Conn.--Connecticut College junior Michael LeDuc (Canton, Conn.) posted a school record setting time of 8:54.80 en route to his second place scoring in the 3000 meter steeplechase at the Sam Howell Distance Invitational hosted by Princeton University Friday night. 

LeDuc moves to number one on the NCAA Division III performance list by an 11 second margin. He shattered his previous school mark of 8:59.54 by more than four seconds.

Johnny Gregorek of Columbia University won the race with a time of 8:52.85. 

The rest of the Camel squad will visit Springfield, Mass. Saturday to compete in American International College Invitational.
