LeDuc Posts Victory in 5000 Meter Run at Brown

PROVIDENCE, R.I.--Connecticut College junior Michael LeDuc (Canton, Conn.) posted a time of 14:43.36 to win in the 5000 meters at the Brown University Springtime Invitational Saturday.

In the one-mile run, Tristan Cole (St. Helen, Calif.) established an outdoor school record with a time of 4:19.29.  The performance earned the Golden State standout an invitation to the New England Division III Championship. In the 800 meter run, Cole qualified for the aforementioned New England Division III Championship with a time of 1:56.51. 

Sophomore Patrick Dermody (Erieville, N.Y.) set an outdoor school record with a time of 8:51.56 in the 3000 meter run. The previous record of 9:06.45 was set by Keith Drake '08 back in 2006.
