BOSTON, Mass.--(Photo of Michael LeDuc shot by Kevin Morris/Kevinmorris.com)Connecticut College senior All-American Michael LeDuc of Canton, Conn. posted a time of 14:17.32 to place second in the 5000 meters at the Boston University Terrier Classic Saturday.
LeDuc moved to #1 on the NCAA Division III performance list with his finish, shattering his own school record by 10.68 seconds Saturday.
In the 4x400 meter relay, Ian Rathkey (Old Lyme, Conn.), Geoffrey Pendergast (Weston, Mass.), Nick Fischetti (Groton, Mass.) and Ben Bosworth (Dorchester, Mass.) set a school record with a time of 3:29.92.
In the 1000 meters, Niall Williams (Scotia, N.Y.) qualified for both the New England Division III and Easter College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Championships with a time of 2:31.91. Billy Barnes (New York, N.Y.) had his ticket stamped for the two aforementioned championships with his time of 1:57.92 in the 800 meter run. Bosworth earned his invitation to both mentioned championships in the one-mile run, posting a time of 4:20.31 for Connecticut College.
Pendergast and Rathkey both earned invitations to the ECAC Championship in the 500 meter dash with respective finishes in 1:07.55 and 1:07.74.
