Rathkey Places Third in 800 Meters for Camels

WEST CHESTER, Pa.—The Connecticut College men's track and field team competed in the West Chester University Invitational Saturday.

In the 5000 meters, senior Drew Majkut (Upton, Mass.) posted a time of 16:07.07 to place third for the Camels. In the same event, Ben Bosworth (Dorchester, Mass.), Zander Mintz (East Windsor, N.J.), Niall Williams (Scotia, N.Y.) and Alejandro Hernandez (Miami, Fla.) placed fourth, fifth, seventh and eighth with respective times of 16:15.98, 16:21.43, 16:38.81 and 16:42.84.

Senior Ian Rathkey (Old Lyme, Conn.) finished third in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:00.73 for the Camels.

In the 4x400 meter relay, the Camel quartet consisting of Nick Fischetti (Groton, Mass.), Aaron Davis (New London, Conn.), Sam McKeown (South Windsor, Conn.) and Dan Gossels (Sudbury, Mass.) placed eighth with a time of 3:39.64.

Fischetti set a personal record in the 100 meters, logging a time of 11.78 seconds for the Camels.
