Connecticut College 4x400 Meter Relay Team Sets School Record at BU

BOSTON, Mass.—The Connecticut College men's indoor track and field 4x400 meter relay team broke a school record at the Boston University Terrier Invitational Saturday.

Freshman Aidan Cort (Wellesley, Mass.), sophomore Alex McGurk (Lakeville, Mass.) along with freshman Christian Whitaker (Dolton, Ill.) and sophomore Andrew Peterson (Wallingford, Conn.) posted a time of 3:29.33 for the Camels in Boston.

In the 400 meter dash, Cort posted a time of 52.63 seconds, Peterson finished in 53.18 seconds, Geoffrey Pendergast (Weston, Mass.) finished in 53.21 seconds, Whitaker logged a time of 53.78 seconds and McGurk crossed the finish line in 53.85 seconds.

Across the river at the Tufts Stampede, junior Nick Fischetti (Groton, Mass.) scored 3534 points to place seventh in the heptathlon for Connecticut College.
