Bosworth Climbs to #4 on National Performance List in the One Mile Run for Camels

BOSTON, Mass.--Senior Ben Bosworth (Dorchester, Mass.) posted a time of 4:09.14 in the one mile run at the Boston University Valentine Invitational today to climb to #4 on the national performance list as of this writing. The NCAA Championship is now just one month away and Bosworth seems to be peaking at the right time for the Camels.

In the distance medley relay, the Camels posted a time of 10:15.01 at BU. Freshman Danny Aschale (Cambridge, Mass.), Andrew Peterson (Wallingford, Conn.), Price Day (Harvard, Mass.) and Scott Mason (Wyndmoor, Pa.) catapulted up to 13th place on the national performance list this afternoon with their effort in the DMR.

In the 4x400 meter relay, Blake O'Neal (Houston, Texas), Peterson, Arlo Siegel (Florence, Mass.) and Geoff Pendergast (Weston, Mass.) ran a season-best time of 3:28.60. In the 500 meter dash, Peterson posted a time of 1:05.95 to set a personal record. Senior Alejandro Hernandez (Miami, Fla.) set a personal record of his own in the one-mile run, posting a time of 4:31.84.

Across the river in Cambridge, Russell Adam (Cheshire, Conn.) had a nice day running the 3,000 meters, placing fourth for the Camels in 9:25.36. Sophomore Austin DiMartino (West Haven, Conn.) set personal records in the 60 meter hurdles (10.04 seconds) as well as the high jump (five feet, eight inches).
