Scott Mason Races in 3,000 at NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Connecticut College junior Scott Mason (Wyndmoor, Pa.) competed in the 3,000-meter run at the NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships at the Birmingham CrossPlex on Saturday afternoon.

Mason, who was making his third appearance at an NCAA championship event, finished 11th overall by clocking in a time of 8:25.29 in his last race of the season. Dylan Gearinger of Haverford ran the fastest time of 8:16.77 to pace a group of 15 student-athletes who were competing in the event.

Connecticut College will now turn its attention to the outdoor season, which begins when the Camels trek to Middletown, Connecticut for the Wesleyan Invitational on Saturday, March 24.
