Men’s Track & Field Begins Competing at New England Division III Championships

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – The Connecticut College men's track & field team began competing at the New England Division III Championships on Friday at Williams College.

Sophomore Ian McAleer (Newfields, N.H.) registered the highest Camel finish of the day by placing 15th in the 100-meter dash in 11.18 seconds. Senior Russell Adam (Cheshire, Conn.) finished 16th in the 10,000-meter run, navigating the track in 34:21.05.

In the field, senior Jonathan Handy (Hingham, Mass.) placed 26th in the hammer throw. He recorded a toss that traveled 136-feet, 4-inches.

Connecticut College will conclude competing at the New England Championships tomorrow morning.
