LeDuc Places Fourth in First Race of Season for Camels at USM

GORHAM, Maine--The Connecticut College men's cross country team scored 177 points to place sixth in the 19 team field at the University of Southern Maine Invitational Saturday.

MIT won the Invitational with a score of 37 points.

Senior All-American Michael LeDuc (Canton, Conn.) paced the Camels on the five mile course, placing fourth in the field of 284 harriers with a time of 25:21. Junior Patrick Dermody (Erieville, N.Y.) posted a time of 26:12 to finish in 20th place. Freshman Ben Bosworth (Dorchester, Mass.) was next for the Camels in 38th place with a time of 26:41.
 

Billy Barnes (New York, N.Y.) checked in with a time of 27:04 in a 59th place showing. Freshman Raymond Rich-Fiondella (North Haven, Conn.) posted a time of 27:23 en route to his 76th place finish. Sophomore Niall Williams (Scotia, N.Y.) was 78th while freshman Zander Mintz (East Windsor, N.J.) placed 80th in the field. Both runners posted identical times of 27:24.
