Bosworth, Dermody Lead Camels to 15th Place Finish at New England Division III Championship

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass.--Connecticut College sophomore Ben Bosworth of Dorchester, Mass. posted a time of 26:43 en route to a 56th place finish in the New England Division III Championship hosted by Williams College at Mount Greylock High School Saturday.

The Camels placed 15th in the 54 team field with a score of 425 points.

Senior Patrick Dermody (Erieville, N.Y.) finished in 70th place for the Camels with a time of 26:58. Freshman Connor Trapp (Wilmette, Ill.) posted a time of 26:59, securing a 71st place finish.  Junior Niall Williams (Scotia, N.Y.) was the 103rd finisher Saturday with a time of 27:29 for Connecticut College.

Senior Billy Barnes (New York, N.Y.) placed 125th in the Championship with a time of 27:44.  Sophomore Zander Mintz (East Windsor, N.J.) was next for the Camels with a time of 27:45 in 126th place.  

Sophomore Alex Hernandez (Miami, Fla.) posted a time of 28:03 as the seventh Camel harrier Saturday, finishing 148th in the field.

With five runners in the top 21 places, Colby College won the Regional title with a score of 61 points.  Amherst College finished in second with 70 points.
