BETHLEHEM, Pa.--The Connecticut College men's cross country team visited Lehigh University this week to compete in the Paul Short Run Presented by Asics.
The Camels finished in 21st place out of 39 scoring teams in the College Brown Race with a score of 606 points.
Shippensburg University placed three of its harriers in the top five to win the run with a score of 57 points. Columbia University finished in second place with a score of 81 points.
Junior Ben Bosworth of Dorchester, Mass. paced the Camels on the 8k course with a time of 25:23 to finish 33rd in the field of 354 runners. Senior Niall Williams (Scotia, N.Y.) posted a time of 26:10 en route to his 128th place finish for Connecticut College. Sophomore Jordan Comeau (Winchendon, Mass.) was next in line for the Camels in 151st place with a time of 26:19.
Junior Alejandro Hernandez (Miami, Fla.) checked in with a time of 26:21 as the 155th runner to complete the course. Classmate Zander Mintz (pictured, East Windsor, N.J.) finished in 171st place with a time of 26:29. Freshman Russell Adam (Cheshire, Conn.) completed the course in 26:32 as the sixth Camel scorer in 176th place.
Freshman Price Day (Harvard, Mass.) finished in 192nd place with a time of 26:37 for Head Coach Jim Butler's Camels.
The Camels will host their home invitational at Harkness State Park in Waterford, Conn. October 17.
