Williams Places 31st at NESCAC Championship for Camels

MIDDLETOWN, Conn.--Connecticut College senior Niall Williams (Scotia, N.Y.) posted a time of 26:09 to finish in 31st place at the New England Small College Athletic Conference Championship hosted by Wesleyan University today.

The Camels placed 10th in the 11 team field with a score of 256 points.

Williams College placed four of its runners in the top nine to win the 2015 NESCAC Crown.

Freshman Price Day (Harvard, Mass.) placed 52nd in the field with a time of 26:37.  Classmate Kyle Hawk (Napa, Calif.) finished in 55th place with a time of 26:38. Day was the second fastest freshman to complete the course while Hawk was the fourth fastest first year runner. Junior Zander Mintz (East Windsor, N.J.). was next for the Camels in 62nd place with a time of 26:46.

Junior Ben Bosworth (Dorchester, Mass.) posted a time of 26:57 to place 72nd for the Camels. Sophomore Connor Trapp (Wilmette, Ill.) checked in with a time of 27:36 in 96th place. Junior Raymond Rich-Fiondella (North Haven, Conn.) was the seventh Camel to complete the 8k course in 84th place with a time of 27:15.
