WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass.--Connecticut College junior Raymond Rich-Fiondella (pictured, North Haven, Conn.) placed 55th with a time of 28:07 on the 8k course at Mount Greylock High School in the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Championship Saturday.
The Camels placed 11th out of 40 scoring teams with 369 points.
Amherst College placed three of its runners among the top eight to win the ECAC Championship.
Senior Dan Gossels (Sudbury, Mass.) posted a time of 28:13 en route to his 59th place showing for the Camels. Junior Alejandro Hernandez (Miami, Fla.) was the third Camel finisher in 73rd place with a time of 28:30. The next three finishers for the Camels were all freshmen.
Russell Adam (Cheshire, Conn.) posted a time of 28:43 en route to his 80th place finish. Milo Cowles (Franklin, N.Y.) placed 109th in the field with a time of 29:14. Ben Severn (Doylestown, Pa.) was next for the Camels with a time of 29:38 in 129th place.
Senior Sam McKeown (South Windsor, Conn.) posted a time of 30:56 to finish in 183rd place.
Connecticut College will host the New England Division III Championship at Harkness Memorial State Park in Waterford, Conn. next Saturday.
