Rich-Fiondella Leads Camels to Third Place Finish at Eight Team Trinity Invitational

MANCHESTER, Conn.--The Connecticut College men's cross country team opened its season with the Trinity College 5k Invitational Saturday.

The Camels placed three of its runners in the top eight to finish third out of eight teams with a score of 59 points.

Senior Raymond Rich-Fiondella (North Haven, Conn.) posted a time of 17:23 in a sixth place finish for the Camels. Freshman Sean Soucy (Falmouth, Maine) checked in with a time of 17:32 in seventh place. Classmate Declan Rozinsky (Ho-Ho-Kus, N.J.) was next in eighth place for Head Coach Jim Butler's squad with a time of 17:32.

Junior Jordan Comeau (Winchendon, Mass.) posted a time of 18:05 to place 18th overall. Sophomore Kyle Hawk (Napa, Calif.) finished in 24th place with a time of 18:19. Freshman Christian Carr-Locke (Walpole, Mass.) placed 30th in the field with a time of 18:40 while classmate Jacob Brill-Weil (Cambridge, Mass.) posted a time of 19:33 to finish in 36th place for the Camels.
