Bosworth Leads Camels to 11th Place Finish at New England Division III Championship

WESTFIELD, Mass.--Connecticut College senior Ben Bosworth (Dorchester, Mass.) posted a time of 25:08 to place 15th in the New England Division III Championship hosted by Westfield State University at Stanley Park today.

 Freshman Danny Aschale (Cambridge, Mass.) capped off a terrific rookie campaign by placing 34th in the field with a time of 25:28.  Bosworth will find out tomorrow afternoon if he's qualified for the NCAA Championship. Both runners were recognized as All-New England honorees for placing in the top 35. The Camels placed 11th in the field of 56 teams with 290 points, just two points outside of a top 10 finish.

"Ben went after it right from the get go," Connecticut College Head Men's Cross Country Coach Jim Butler said. "The guys all ran really aggressively like we talked about doing all week."

Junior Connor Trapp (Wilmette, Ill.) was the third Camel to complete the course in 54th place with a time of 25:50. Sophomore Kyle Hawk (Napa, Calif.) posted a time of 26:15 to finish in 88th place for the Camels.  Senior Zander Mintz (East Windsor, N.J.) placed 99th in the field with a time of 26:22.
 
Senior Alejandro Hernandez (Miami, Fla.) was the sixth Camel to the cross the finish line in 112th place with a time of 26:42. Sophomore Price Day (Harvard, Mass.) was the 141st finisher with a time of 27:18.
