Camels Place Sixth in 17 Team Field at Moody Trophy Regatta

NEWPORT, R.I.--(Rob Migliaccio Photography) The Connecticut College Coed Sailing Team competed in the Moody Trophy Regatta hosted by the University of Rhode Island this weekend.

It was a successful weekend for the Camels, who placed sixth in the 17 team field with a score of 81 points. 

Boston University finished with 54 points to win the regatta. The Polar Bears from Bowdoin College placed second with a score of 63 points in the Ocean State.

Junior skipper Walt Florio and sophomore crew Erin Smith scored 51 points to place 12th in the A division. 

In the B division, rookie skipper Carter Pemberton, Gwynie Dunlevy and Albert Rodiger scored 30 points en route to their sixth place showing for the Camels.
