Sailing Programs Compete at Harvard and MIT

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Connecticut College coed and women's sailing programs competed at a pair of regattas hosted by Harvard and MIT over the weekend.

The women finished eighth among 16 programs at the Victorian Urn regatta at Harvard. Charlotte List and Gwynie Dunlevy led the way for the Camels by placing sixth in the A Division after most notably winning two of their 16 races.

The coed program placed 14th among 18 scoring teams at the 77th Professor Schell regatta at MIT while havin to battle through and overcome difficult as well as shifty conditions on the water. Carter Pemberton, Cecilia Moreira and Albert Rodiger all teamed up to finish 14th in the B Division and just one point behind Vermont.

The coed team will now return home to host the Hap Moore Team Race next weekend on the Thames River, while the women's program will head to Salve Regina.
