NEW LONDON, Conn.--Connecticut College senior net-minder Katherine Chester of Mendham, N.J. has been named to the All-USCHO Third Team. The squad is voted on by the editors and writers of the United States College Hockey Online web site.
Chester enjoyed another terrific season for the Camels between the pipes, finishing fifth nationally with a 1.18 goals against average and a .951 save percentage. Chester posted five shutouts for the Camels, leading the team into the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Semifinal Round for the fourth time in the past five years.
Chester posted a 1.34 goals against average with a .947 save percentage over the course of her career, registering 1,306 saves for Connecticut College. She was honored on the All-NESCAC Women's Hockey First Team in 2016. She has been named to NESCAC All-Academic Team in each of her three seasons of eligibility for Connecticut College. The Camels posted 15 wins in each of the past two seasons.
