Camel Women Place 17th in 35 Team Field at Head of the Charles Regatta

CAMBRIDGE, Mass.--The Connecticut College rowing teams are competing in the 51st Annual Head of the Charles Regatta this weekend.

The Camel men's rowing team placed 45th in the 46 team field with a time of 20:30.

The Fighting Irish from the University of Notre Dame posted a time of 17:09 to win the regatta.

The Connecticut College women's rowing team competed in the collegiate four regatta today.

Under the direction of Head Coach Eva Kovach, the Camels placed 17th in the 35 team field with a time of 20:50.

The University of New Hampshire posted a time of 19:30 to win the regatta.

Tomorrow afternoon, Connecticut College fans and alumni will have plenty to look forward to. At 2:30 p.m., Mike Clougher '15, also known in Camel Nation as "Big Mike" will row in the three seat with the United States National Team in the Men's Championship eight regatta.
