WORCESTER, Mass.--The Connecticut College women's rowing team visited Central Massachusetts and the City of Worcester to compete in the New England Rowing Championship today.
The Camels celebrated by medaling in two regattas for today. In the varsity four grand final, the Camels won the silver medal, placing second behind the River Hawks from the University of Massachusetts-Lowell. In the second varsity four, the Camels finished just .18 seconds behind the Warriors from Merrimack College with their third place finish, bringing home the bronze medal back to the Whaling City.
The Camels also had a strong result in the novice eight regatta. Connecticut College did not medal but a fourth place showing certainly sends a positive message for the future of the program.
