Colby College 1 Connecticut College 1 2OT Tie Torres Nets Second Goal of Season for Camels

WATERVILLE, Maine ---(Bill Sodoma, Colby College) Annie Papadellis (Hopkinton, Mass.) scored in the first half for Colby College and Connecticut College's Aina Torres (Barcelona, Spain) tallied in the second half as the two teams played to a 1-1 overtime tie on Sunday in NESCAC women's soccer.

Colby moves to 4-5-1 overall and 1-5-1 in the NESCAC, while the Camels are 3-4-3 overall and 1-3-2 in the league.
Papadellis scored her fifth goal of the season when she dribbled from near midfield and scored to the far post at 22:03 of the opening half.
The Mules kept the game scoreless to the final 15 minutes of regulation, but the Camels tied it when Torres headed in a pass from Annie Higgins (West Hartford, Conn.) with 12:45 left in the second half.
The Camels had a 25-16 shot advantage and a 10-2 margin in corner kicks. 
Colby's Emily Brook (Duxbury, Mass.) had six of her 10 saves in the opening half. Camel goalkeeper Bella Hall (Manhattan Beach, Calif.) stopped nine shots.
