Connecticut College 8, University of Saint Joseph 0 Camels Erupt with Four Goals in Opening 20 Minutes of Play

WEST HARTFORD, Conn.--Rebecca Raymond (Lowell, Mass.) sandwiched a pair of goals around an assist while junior Morgan Cowie-Haskell (Marshfield, Mass.) added a pair of goals to lead the Connecticut College women's soccer team to an 8-0 triumph over the University of Saint Joseph in West Hartford Tuesday.

The Camels (4-0) erupted with four goals in the opening 19:29 of regulation to take control of the contest. They have out-scored their opposition 20-to-2 in the first four games of the year.

Alex Tribelli (Cranston, R.I.), Michelle Medina (Hartford, Conn.), Nicole Medina (Hartford, Conn.) and Livi Block (New York, N.Y.) chipped in with scores for Head Coach Norm Riker's Camels.

Bryanna Montalvo (Rocky  Hill, Conn.) made two saves en route to her second consecutive shutout performance for the winning side.

Ashley Hebert (Wolcott, Conn.) finished with 13 stops in the setback for the Blue Jays (3-3).

Connecticut College enjoyed a 35-to-5 advantage on the shot chart and held an 8-to-1 edge on corner kicks.

Two of the first three goals of the contest were scored off of corners.

The Blue Jays will host Albertus Magnus College Saturday at 1:00 p.m. for a Great Northeast Athletic Conference Game.

The Camels will visit Hamilton College Saturday for an 11:00 a.m. NESCAC contest in Clinton, N.Y.
