Connecticut College 5, Brooklyn College 0 Allen Leads Camels to 2nd Straight Win

BROOKLYN, N.Y.—Annabelle Allen (Hastings-on-Hudson, N.Y.) scored in the second minute of action to lead the Connecticut College women's soccer team to a 5-0 victory against Brooklyn College Monday.

Sophomores Michelle Medina (Hartford, Conn.) and Mackenzie Kingston (Charlotte, Vt.), junior Katelyn Murray (Medfield, Mass.) and freshman Emmy McGoldrick (Cohasset, Mass.) all contributed with second half scores for the Camels.

Sophomores Livi Block( New York, N.Y.) and sophomore Caroline Kelleher (Holden, Mass.) both contributed with assists.

The Camels improved their record to 3-6-3 with their second straight win, while the Bulldogs fell to 3-10-2.

Alex Santiago (Griswold, Conn.) logged 73 minutes in goal to earn the win. After starting the game in the field, senior Amanda Onofrio (Greenwich, Conn.) contributed with 17 minutes of action in second half relief duty for the Camels.  

Brooklyn College sophomore keeper Rebecca Harmata (Janesville, Wis.) had nine saves for the reigning champions of the CUNYAC.

The Camels return home to host Trinity College Wednesday for a 3:15 p.m. NESCAC game in New London.
