Bowdoin College 3, Connecticut College Baltazar, Steele Suppy Scores for Camels

NEW LONDON, Conn.—Senior Jamie Hostetter (Chester, N.J.) netted a pair of first half scores to lead the visiting Bowdoin College women's soccer team to a 3-2 victory at Connecticut College Saturday.

The Polar Bears improved their record to 9-4-1 with a 6-3 mark in the NESCAC, while the Camel fell to 3-8-3 with a 0-6-3 mark in conference action.

Sophomore Ellie Zak (Gross Pointe, Mich.) chipped in with a first half score for the visitors.

Senior met-minder Bridget McCarthy (Hopkinton, Mass.) stopped four shots to earn the win.

Connecticut College freshman Alex Baltazar (Ludlow, Mass.) and Lauren Steele (Westford, Mass.) supplied scores for the hosts.

Michelle Mednia (Hartford, Conn.) and Livi Block (New York, N.Y.) contributed with assists.

Junior Bryanna Montalvo (Rocky Hill, Conn.) made four saves for the hosts.

Prior to the game, the Camels honored their three seniors (pictured): Amanda Onofrio (right, Greenwich, Conn.), Abby Fagan (left, Westport, Conn.) and Libby Thomas (center, Cumberland, Maine).
