Lippincott Erases Two Set Deficit to Lead Camels in First Home Win Against Northeastern

Camels Top Northeastern For First Home Win

NEW LONDON, Conn.--The Connecticut College women's squash team split a pair of matches in Luce Field House Saturday.
The Camels knocked off the 31st ranked Northeastern Huskies in a 6-3 triumph and dropped an 8-1 decision to 20th ranked Wellesley.

Four first year players: Ashley Berry (New Milford, Conn.), Margaret Davey (Groton, Mass.), Davis Lemay (Harwich Port, Mass.) and Phoebe Pilakas (Conway, Mass.) posted victories in their first ever home match- while tri Captain Caroline Lippincott (Jamestown, R.I.) battled back from being down 0-2, to win a five set thriller with an 11-3 triumph in the decisive set. 

Sophomore Jackie Chu (New York, N.Y.) played one of her best matches of her Connecticut College career with a 3-0 victory (11-6, 11-6 and 11-5).
