Mount Holyoke College 5 Connecticut College 4 Lippincott Notches Win in Final Home Match for Camels

NEW LONDON, Conn.--Caroline Lippincott (Jamestown, R.I.) secured an 11-6, 13-15, 11-7, 11-13, 11-7 triumph in her final home match at the ninth spot on the ladder to lead the Connecticut College women's squash team in a 5-4 loss to Mount Holyoke College Friday.

Lippincott, Adrienne Sieverding (Red Hook, N.Y.) and Anne Holly (York, Pa.) were honored by Head Coach Ted Childs as the senior trio played their final home match in the Whaling City.

Junior Mawa Ballo (Harlem, N.Y.) contributed with an 11-6, 11-3, 8-11, 7-11, 11-8 triumph in the top slot on the ladder for the Camels. In the seventh slot on the ladder, Allie Fuller (Providence, R.I.) posted a 3-1 (11-6, 9-11, 11-6, 11-5) win for the Camels.  Sophomore Jackie Chu (New York, N.Y.) notched an 11-5, 11-6, 13-11 victory in the eighth slot on the ladder for Connecticut College.

The Camels will compete in the CSA National Championship next weekend.
