NEW LONDON, Conn. – The Connecticut College women's squash team blanked Northeastern, 9-0, on Saturday morning.
Senior Jackie Chu (New York, N.Y.) , who was recognized prior to the contest, most notably won her match at the No. 8 spot by set scores of 11-3, 11-4 and 11-6. Junior Davis Lemay (Harwich Port, Mass.) bounced back to take the No. 1 position by marks of 11-6, 6-11, 11-8 and 11-6, while freshman Birgitta Salvesen-Quinn (Cambridge, Mass.) was dominant for the second straight day by downing her opponent, 11-0, 11-5, and 11-3 at No. 7.
Connecticut College (3-8) will next head to Trinity compete at the NESCAC Championships beginning on Friday, Feb. 8.
