Two Women’s Tennis Players Go Undefeated at Holy Cross Tournament to Conclude Fall Season

WORCESTER, Mass. – Sophomores Paige Braithwaite (Skillman, N.J.) and Skylar Morgan (Pittsburgh, Pa.) each went undefeated in singles and doubles play to lead the Connecticut College women's tennis team at a weekend tournament hosted by Holy Cross to conclude the fall season.

Braithwaite won the No. 3 singles bracket by registering convincing 8-3 and 8-5 victories over opponents from Wheaton and Nichols, respectively. She also teamed up with senior Brinley Bartlett (Malvern, Pa.) at No. 4 doubles, earning 8-3 and 8-4 wins against pairs from the same schools.

Morgan was equally as impressive over the course of the day at No. 7 singles and No. 2 doubles. She defeated players from Holy Cross, 8-3, and Nichols by an 8-2 decision and cruised to doubles wins by 8-2 and 8-1 scores with senior Mariah Warren (McLeansville, N.C.).

Connecticut College will resume competing in the spring.
