BOSTON, Mass.--Junior Bella Franz (Water Mill, N.Y.) moved up all the way up to #3 on the national performance list in the 800 meters, besting her previous school record with a time of 2:11.50.
Also, in the 800, Caroline Leonard (Hingham, Mass.) earned an invitation to the New England Division III Championship with a time of 2:25.61. Eva Brydson (Cape Elizabeth, Maine) set a personal record in the 800 meters, posting a time of 2:26.29. Casey Sullivan (Beijing, China) posted a time of 2:29.72 in the 800.
In the one-mile run, junior Anna Guay (Watertown, Conn.) set a personal record with a time of 5:22.94. Grace Sheeran (Medina, Wash.) posted a time of 5:23.83, setting a personal record of her own. Alex Fromme (Carlsbad, Calif.) checked in with a time of 5:24.21 and senior Emily Winter (Easton, Conn.) set a personal record with a time of 5:28.71 for the Camels.
Two Camels set new personal records in the 200 meter run. Senior Tori Kenyon (Plymouth, Mass.) posted a time of 27.51 seconds with rookie sprinter Kenzie McFarland (Monroe, Conn.) crossing the finish line in 27.96 seconds.
Senior Ashley Bjorkman (Mansfield, Mass.) posted a time of 1:24.45 in the 500 meter dash, setting a personal record along the way. Gianna Rocchio (Coventry, R.I.) posted a time of 1:25.89 in the 500 meter dash.
Across the Charles River at MIT, Lamptey set a personal record in the 60 meter dash with a time of 8.32 seconds. Cayla Condon (Sherborn, Mass.) placed eighth in the 3000 meter run, setting a personal record with a time of 11:35.85.
