NEW LONDON, Conn.—The Connecticut College volleyball team secured a 3-0 victory against Eastern Connecticut State University in a non-conference match played in Luce Field House Tuesday night. The set scores were 25-16, 25-10 and 25-19 in favor of the Camels.
Connecticut College improved its record to 7-3 while the Warriors fell to 9-7 with the setback.
Junior outside hitter Belinda Mullally (Garden Grove, Calif.) had 10 digs, four kills and three aces to lead the Camels in the victory. Sophomore Jenny Kellogg (Los Altos, Calif.) contributed with eight kills for the Camels while senior Ella Johnson (Seal Beach, Calif.) had six.
Junior setter Katia Elisman (Lake Forest, Ill.) dished out 23 assists with four kills for the winning side.
Eastern Connecticut State University senior Adrianna Mihalek (Woodbury, Conn.) posted eight kills to go along with 11 assists, seven digs and a pair of aces in the match. Junior outside hitter Carly Balkus (Hebron, Conn.) finished with eight assists and four kills for the Warriors. Megan Macomber (South Windsor, Conn.) added three kills and a solo block for the visitors.
