NEW LONDON, Conn.—The Clark University volleyball team secured a 3-1 victory in a match played at Connecticut College Saturday. The set scores were 25-17, 25-21, 13-25 and 25-18 in favor of the Cougars.
Clark improved its record to 15-7 with the triumph, while the Camels moved to 10-8 with the loss.
Junior outside hitter Marina Ramos (Guaynabo, Puerto Rico) erupted with 21 kills and four digs to lead the visitors in the win. Ana Mercado (Guaynabo, Puerto Rico) chipped in with nine kills and four digs for the winning side. Senior liber Mia Cattaneo (Santa Barabara, Calif.) registered 20 digs in the win.
Sophomore setter Rachel Webb (Celina, Texas) dished out 46 assists with nine digs for the winning side.
Connecticut College senior Ella Johnson (Seal Beach, Calif.) and junior Sam Hunter (Palos Verdes, Calif.) had nine kills each to lead the Camels in the match. Alex McDevitt (Medfield, Mass.) chipped in with six kills and 10 digs in her final home match.
Junior Katia Elisman (Lake Forest, Ill.) dished out 21 assists for the Camels.
