    NEW LONDON, Conn. – Seniors Sam Hunter (Pacific Palisades, Calif.) and Katia Elisman (Pacific Palisades, Calif.) each recorded a double-double in their final game as collegians, but it wasn’t enough, as the Connecticut College volleyball team fell to Bowdoin by a 3-2 decision on Saturday afternoon at the Charles B. Luce Field House. Set scores were 13-25, 23-25, 25-20, 27-25 and 13-15.

    NORTH DARTMOUTH, Mass. – Freshman Emma Hewlin (San Jose, Calif.) smashed a combined 32 kills as the Connecticut College volleyball team picked up two victories by sweeping Southern Maine and host UMass Dartmouth in straight sets on Saturday afternoon at the Tripp Center.

    NEW LONDON, Conn. – Senior Sam Hunter (Pacific Palisades, Calif.) and sophomore Grace McGee (Portland, Ore.) each registered a double-double, but it wasn’t enough, as Coast Guard rallied from two sets down to defeat the Connecticut College volleyball team in its annual Green Dot game by a 3-2 decision on Thursday evening at the Luce Field House. Set scores were 26-24, 29-27, 19-25, 14-25 and 8-15.
  • Volleyball Stays in Playoff Race With 3-0 Road Sweep of Colby

    WATERVILLE, Maine – Senior Sam Hunter (Pacific Palisades, Calif.) and freshman Emma Hewlin (San Jose, Calif.) tallied 11 kills apiece while combining to hit at a .432 clip to help lead the Connecticut College volleyball team to a 3-0 sweep of Colby on Saturday afternoon at Wadsworth Gymnasium. The Camels remained in the playoff race after winning by set scores of 25-14, 25-19 and 25-13.

The Camels won by set scores of 25-6, 25-18 and 26-24.

The Camels defeated the Bison by scores of 25-22, 25-5 and 25-17 before earning 25-20, 25-22 and 25-19 set wins against the Colonials.
