    NEW LONDON, Conn. – Senior captain Maddie Rust (Austin, Texas) smashed a career-high 24 kills, which included providing the match point, to help lead the Connecticut College volleyball team to a thrilling 3-2 victory over Hamilton in the NESCAC opener for both schools on Friday evening at the Luce Field House. Set scores were 22-25, 28-26, 25-21, 22-25 and 15-6.

    NEW LONDON, Conn. – The Connecticut College volleyball team split its opening home matches against Salve Regina and SUNY Oneonta on Friday evening at the Luce Field House. The Camels first fell to the Seahawks in five sets before sweeping the Red Dragons to end the day on a high note.

    SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Freshman Avery Light (Sudbury, Mass.) smashed 11 kills in her collegiate debut and sophomore Katie Howley (Scituate, Mass.) nearly registered a double-double to propel the Connecticut College volleyball team to a 3-0 sweep of Western New England at the AHLC Gym on Wednesday night. Set scores were 25-20, 29-27 and 25-17.
