BETHLEHEM, Pa--The Connecticut College women's cross country team scored 969 to to place 34th out of 42 teams at the Paul Short Invitational hosted by Lehigh University today.
The Camels were competing in the Brown Race, the middle of three varsity sections of competition. The 128 participating schools were which is in between the most competitive Gold Race and the least competitive White race.
Senior Bella Franz (pictured, Water Mill, N.Y.) placed 69th to lead the Camels on the 6k course with a time of 22:28. Classmate Anna Guay (Watertown, Conn.) finished in 195th place with a time of 23:47. Sabina Flandrick (Boulder, Colo.) checked in with a time of 24:07 in 224th place.
Hannah Noyes (Vinalhaven, Maine) finished in 238th place with a time of 24:18. Cayla Condon (Sherborn, Mass.) posted a time of 24:21 to finish in 243rd place. Julianna Donovan (Needham, Mass.) placed 245th in the field with a time of 24:31 for the Camels.
Junior Micaela Nee (Hanover, Mass.) was the seventh Camel to complete the course in 257th place with a time of 24:38.
