HADLEY, Mass. – A total of 45 Connecticut College student-athletes were named to the 2018 NESCAC All-Academic Team, as announced by the league office on Wednesday afternoon. The teams include the sports of cross country, field hockey, football, soccer, volleyball and men's water polo.
Connecticut College's women's soccer team placed 15 student-athletes on the all-academic team, which was the highest number of selections among Camel programs. Women's cross country (9), field hockey (7), men's soccer (7), men's cross country (4), and volleyball (3) all had at least one athlete chosen.
To be honored on the all-academic team, an individual must have reached sophomore academic standing and be in good standing on their team with a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.50. A transfer student must have completed one year of study at the institution.
