HADLEY, Mass. – A total of 57 Connecticut College student-athletes were named to the 2019 NESCAC Winter All-Academic Team, as announced by the league office on Friday afternoon. The teams include the sports of basketball, ice hockey, squash, swimming, and indoor track & field.
Connecticut College's women's swimming team placed 14 student-athletes on the all-academic team, which was the highest number of selections among Camel programs. Women's indoor track & field (12), men's ice hockey (10), women's ice hockey (5), men's indoor track & field (4), women's basketball (4), women's squash (4), men's squash (2), men's basketball (1), and men's swimming (1) all had at least one athlete chosen.
To be honored on the all-academic team, an individual must have reached sophomore academic standing and be in good standing on their team with a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.50. A transfer student must have completed one year of study at the institution.
